Player Background
Six USA national teams, an NJCAA first and a cycle against Cuba shape Ashton Lansdell’s baseball résumé
Ashton Lansdell's background crosses levels and even sports. Before playing Division I softball at FIU and Ole Miss, she spent a season playing baseball at Georgia Highlands College. By 2026, USA Baseball counted her sixth appearance on the Women's National Team.
Background
Ole Miss identifies Lansdell as the first woman to play baseball at the NJCAA level, a milestone she reached at Georgia Highlands. Her international record includes one of the clearest single-game highlights in this batch: against Cuba at the 2019 Pan-American Championships, she went 4-for-5 with five RBI and completed the cycle with a 400-foot home run. After two softball seasons at FIU she joined Ole Miss, while USA Baseball's 2026 roster announcement placed her among the players making a sixth national-team appearance.
